Horizon Utilities Corporation earns 2006 Healthy Living Niagara Gold Award

Horizon Utilities Corporation is the proud recipient of the Healthy Living Niagara Gold Award for the second consecutive year. The award was presented to members of the company's Wellness Committee in November 2006 at a ceremony in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The Gold Award represents the highest level of achievement and recognizes the company's and its employees' strong commitment to promoting healthy eating, physical activity and smoke-free living.

Horizon's application for the award highlighted some of the innovative ways it promotes healthy living, such as its Healthy Living Reimbursement Plan, which subsidizes employee costs for exercise equipment as well as programs to improve their health.
